The Capoeira group Coquinho Baiano, Brazil-Italy, was born in the 70s in Brazil, in the city of Campinas, founded by Mestres Godoy and Maya.
It came to Italy in 1996, in the city of Perugia, with Mestre Tozinho.
The group aims at spreading Capoeira and contributes to the formation of human and social values, based on respect and socialization, practicing activities in schools, gyms, associations and communities with special needs and taking part in shows and events.
The Group applies its philosophy in pedagogy, art, culture and sport, making the most of the figure of the Capoeira "Mestre" as a cultural value and a life carrier.
